Jająksíka was born about 1828.
Chaejunsickaw is for Jająksíka, which is from jająksík, "mink"; and -ka, a definite article suffix used in personal names. However, the proper form of female names includes the feminine gender infix -wį-, which gives us Jająksigᵋwįga, "Mink Woman."
Michel St. Cyr married Mink Woman as a second co-wife to Julia Nausaresca. (Waggoner, 9) In the year 1849, or shortly thereafter, Mink Woman left Michel and eventually married the famous Little Priest, the last War Chief of the Hocąk Nation. (Waggoner, 10)
